Sistrum is a 2-channel High Definition animation/sound installation inspired by two distinct pattern designs which shaped the visual language of colonial empires. This includes arrangements of floral French colonial textiles and geometric Andalusian "zellige" (tiles). Each systems undergo multiple entropic movements throughout the duration of the video.
